What drives you?

"I have a simple philosophy. Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches."

There must be more to life than this.

Often people come around and asked " Chris, what drives you to do what you're doing now?"

My answer is simple.There must be more to life than this.

Life is not all about going school, fetching all A's in test. Its not about getting in good/expensive college fetching all A's as well. Its not about finding yourself a job upon graduation and call it career because your parent say so. Then get laid, get kids and spend the next 20years of your life for other people's. Then work till your child grow up. Retire and move back to hometown and wait for death to be upon.

Its your life, and you only have one. Isn't there more to life than this?

"Live your life in such a manner that when you are old and weary, you would want to look back with only a few regrets, not one too many.

Go chase the butterflies in the fields.

Go dance in the streets like you've lost your marbles.

Go pull someone's chair.

Go throw flour and egg at the boy you dislike.

The Facebook Blog : Upgrades & Updates

Surprisingly the new Facebook changes are near exact replica of how Google Plus allows you to post the update as far as the functionality goes.

A lot of Facebook users (including yourself) hated how an update in Facebook was difficult when you wanted to send it to only a specific set of people, in fact that is one of the main reasons I am not too active on Facebook with my personal updates.

I have my niece as well as college friends on Facebook and in most cases I want my personal updates to be seen only by specific set of people. Google+ came in, and it took care of this to perfection!

Facebook seems to have taken a note of this and have hurriedly made changes that literally remind of you of Google+. Lets take a look at it.

The previous facebook update box was just a plain box with no option other options (if you inserted an url, it would automatically pick up the thumbnail / excerpt and posted), but now the new box has number of features

The one thing that was sorely needed in Facebook finally comes – but I have a feeling that if Google+ had not launched, we would not have seen it now – The control over who sees the messages when you post it !!

So not exactly how Google Plus has it, in Facebook you can easily choose who sees your updates!

Tagging is a new feature introduced within the Facebook update box.

And exactly like Google+ you can also choose to show your Geo-location!

All in all – I think these are great changes. I guess this is a prime example of why we need competition – It just spurs competitors to improve (by innovating or copying!).

My Blackberry Experiences : What are the apps?

I got this white chick about 2-3months ago - and have being loving it since! To be honest people, i can't live without it. It is that seducing!. =)

And i am frequently ask about what are the apps i have on my BB as i am a very 'application' person.

So here it is, sharing, the top apps i suggest must have on your Blackberry!.

1) Facebook

Facebook for BlackBerry is exactly that. A facebook application that sits on your home screen and links you up with all the latest happenings on facebook.

I am a crazy addict on Facebook-ing drugs.

2) Whatsapp

I have been using Whatsapp long before i am on Blackberry.This is also a must have!

WhatsApp Messenger is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia and yes, those phones can all message each other! Because WhatsApp Messenger uses the same internet data plan that you use for email and web browsing, there is no cost to message and stay in touch with your friends.

3) Blackberry Messenger

The most reliable messenger ever. It is fast and secure. This is something only Blackberry user get to enjoy it. Prestige is the word. ;)

4) Loudtalks

Now you can sms/message for free, why can't you also talk for free? This is another must have application - keep on talking!

5) Snaptu

The idea of this app is basically : many apps in one application. They have most of the social networking and IM inside. But i use Snaptu mainly for reading rss news and feeds.

6) Expensify

This is how i keep track of my expenses and summit report to my accountant. I never like the idea of keeping receipts - is a mess! Believe me. This app allow you to snap your receipts and keep record of your expenses!

7) Google Maps

I know that you can download and install GPS system like Garmin. But Google Map, personally to me, is more reliable and specific compare to other GPS system i have ever encounter.

8) Pokemon Crystal Meboy 2.2

Personally i am a Pokemon fans.I play with it every night before i sleep. Haha =)

Mixing magic and memory

And what do you get? A programme to help teenagers in personal development and character-building.

NINETEEN-year-old Christopher Cheong is a mentalist. He can make coins disappear right before your eyes or bend them into wonky shapes, seemingly at will.

With a wide, boyish smile which he wears when approaching unsuspecting passers-by, he lures strangers into a circle around him with his demonstrations of psychic magic.

If you are watching the spectacle, you will observe that one by one, the expressions of individuals in the crowd will begin to morph.

Curious smiles grow into gaping mouths while sceptics and the cautious will seem to relax their pursed lips into faces of bewildered amazement.

Cheong wasn’t always this way. There was a time when, for him, being at the centre of attention was unimaginable. “I didn’t have many friends, I would sit in the corner on my own during recess,” he says, recounting the early years of his primary school life in George Town, Penang.

What changed that was a Toys“R”Us magic set his parents bought him when he was eight.

He loved it and would practise his magic in the playground. Kids would come up and watch him, and before long he wasn’t sitting in the corner anymore; he would be all over the place, making friends, talking to kids and making a transformation from withdrawn caterpillar to social butterfly.

A blogger, Cheong was discovered by Telekom Malaysia when he was 15. He performed to his first live audience during one of the national tours organised by the telecommunications company. Since then he has made a living of it, acquiring a manager and appearing for shows at corporate events, clubs and parties. He has not only performed for audiences locally but around the region, too. The money, he admits, is pretty good.

Cheong and Lim Teck Hoe have teamed up to create Magic-ALearning, a workshop that uses magic and memory as tools for self-development.

In fact, he’s been so busy he’s decided to put his studies – a degree course in psychology at HELP University College – on hold for a year.

“I will be picking up where I left off soon, however,” he says. “I feel psychology is a very relevant subject to my career because mentalism is all about understanding how the mind works,” says Cheong.

It wasn’t easy to convince his parents, both graphic designers, that spending so much time on magic was the right thing to do.

“But over the years they have seen the result of my hard work, and they are beginning to be supportive of my choices now,” says the elder of two boys.

His ambition is to spread his passion across industries and bring magic to the masses. He has taken it to clubs, church groups, and now he’s trying to break into education.

The charm of magic

One of the things he loves about magic is that it’s like a universal language.

“It’s the perfect ice-breaker, you don’t have to go up to someone and try to create a topic; you just need to go to someone and say, ‘Hey, you wanna see something cool?’” he says.

Aside from its entertainment values, for Cheong there is more to “magic” than its mysterious intrigue and ability to inspire – much more. And he believes that the art which has made him the outgoing, confident individual he is today can do the same for others.

About three years ago he met another Malaysian with remarkable abilities, Asia memory record holder Lim Teck Hoe, 35.

Like Cheong’s magic, the memory techniques Lim picked up in order to study faster and more effectively to make more time for extra-curricular activities during his university days ended up changing his life.

He was always a good student, but the skills Lim learned through books about memory and how the brain works impressed him so much that upon graduation, he decided to forsake his study area of chemical engineering and open up a tuition centre teaching others the techniques.

Realising it would be good to build up some credibility for his tuition centre, Lim later pitted himself against world memory athletes at the 2002 World Memory Championships in London to prove his memory techniques. Aged 26, he bagged a silver medal and hasn’t looked back since.

Lim and Cheong met at a conference and soon became friends. Lim taught Cheong some memory improvement methods, which Cheong says helped improve the rhythm of his performances (easier to remember the steps to each new magic trick). He would also often perform at memory workshops organised by Lim.

As they got to know each other and learn about their respective disciplines, Cheong began thinking that the two could combine their skills to create a powerful tool for self-development – a programme designed to make the skills of magic and memory that have so benefited them accessible to others.

The duo then came up with Magic-A-Learning, a two-day workshop that teaches kids how to perform magic while developing their self-confidence, public speaking abilities, communication skills, psychological knowledge, creativity and innovation skills.

How can magic and memory techniques combine to do all that? Over coffee, Cheong elaborates.

Making it work

First of all, he says being a mentalist (a magician whose magical performance is made to seem like the result of mind control) is an art form that requires hard work, discipline and patience.

“Magicians don’t just go up to people and do a trick, it’s not as simple as that,” he says.

He explains there is a meticulous amount of planning needed, and learning how to master it is like a roller-coaster, self-help guide on self-development.

Magic, he says, has fascinated people for centuries but the basic formulas remain. For example, the popular disappearing coin trick can manifest itself in many different ways.

“You can make it reappear in someone’s pocket, in a cup, or at the top of Mid Valley,” he says, nodding skywards from his seat at a coffee joint in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.

In other words, a lot of magic is based on the same old ideas injected with a fresh twist, and planning that twist involves developing certain qualities – innovation, creativity and resourcefulness.

Once you know your trick, it’s all about practice, practice, practice, as a lot of “magic” is achieved by sleight of hand, impeccable timing and theatrics.

Theatrics, he says, “is the everything as you really need to convince yourself, in order to convince other people that the magic has happened”.

For example, Cheong points out that if you just smile blankly and look at the coin while “using the power of your mind” to bend it, the whole performance isn’t going to be very convincing.

“It’s a bit like acting, you need to be absorbed in the role and use theatrics as a tool to manipulate people’s psychology.”

Cheong says aside from actually performing the trick, you must practise how you will approach people and what you will say. These are your “patters”.

“To ‘patter’ means to talk at length without saying anything significant, you need to put these together at home so you can build up a rapport with your potential audience.”

Typically, whenever he comes up with a new trick, Cheong will write down every “what if” scenario imaginable – what he would do if he makes a mistake or if people aren’t reacting the way you want them to, for example.

Then he prepares strategies to deal with them, including ways of diverting the audience’s attention.

In that sense, learning how to perform magic teaches you how to work under pressure and be resourceful; everyone has their own way of coping and dealing with unexpected situations and a live audience often forces you to dig deep into the creative side of your brain.

Combined forces

The workshop Cheong and Lim have created uses Lim’s accelerated learning techniques to help a person in memorising all the steps involved in a magic performance.

“Memory can’t stand alone,” Lim points out.

“You need association, you need memory hooks; for example, when you lose your keys and don’t remember where you’ve put them, the most common technique is to trace your way back through time and recreate that journey.

“So mnemonics act like memory hooks, they are things that help you to recall,” he explains.

Cheong says workshop participants can expect to learn about 20 tricks, which they will be encouraged to personalise, by getting creative and inserting their own style into their routine.

Depending on the trick, participants will also have to perform it amongst themselves or to strangers on the street, an essential element in the workshop’s confidence-building motives.

The final test will be individual performances in front of a large audience at the “graduation ceremony”, to which friends and families of the students will be invited.

Cheong is excited at the prospect of exploring how the craft that has helped to transform him into the confident young man he is today may be used to help other teenagers come out of their shells.

And, of course, it’s great for overcoming your fear of, well, talking to the ladies ... something Cheong discovered along the way!

The joint project, Lim says, is the first of its kind, and represents a fun, quirky way towards personal development and character-building.

The first Magic-A-Learning workshop, which was held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, in mid-June started off with an intimate group of four. But they expect attendance to increase.

“We can go up to 30 participants for each session,” says Lim.

The workshop, with at least one planned a month, is targeted at teens aged 12 and above.

Are You A Legalist?

even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

A legalist says, "I've never done anything like that, and I never will." Legalists make lists of things they will and will not do, and hold strictly to their own self-imposed version of righteousness.(Click here to read about my "Righteousness" post)

When Peter was shown in a dream that it was fine for him to eat the flesh of animals on his "don't eat" list, he protested. "No, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy or unclean."

But those are the words of a legalist. God told Peter, "Kill and eat," but Peter told God "No, Lord, by no means - ". Let me suggest that the word "Lord" presupposes that the only appropriate answer is "yes, by all means." To say "No, Lord" is contradictory.

If He is Lord, we cannot say "no." But Peter, like all of us, had a list of "no's" to which God would say "yes."

When Jesus said He would be crucified, Peter said "no." A crucified Savior was not on his list.

When Jesus told Peter that all of the disciples would turn away from Him in His hour of need, Peter said "no." Cowardice was not on his list.

Peter had a habit of saying "No, Lord," when God had already said "yes!"

A Legalist would says, "Look at what a great guy I am. Here's my long list of things I don't do, and I stick to it!" He mistakenly believes that God applauds and says
"Oh, you' re right. Look what a good boy you are!"

All the "no's" in the world will not get a legalist into heaven. But one "yes" to the Lord Jesus Christ and His cleansing sacrifice will.

Righteousness? (Devotional Version)

What do you think righteousness is about? Something you do or something you are? Right doing or right being?

The Bible tells us that after Jesus' sacrifice at the cross, God imputes righteousness not to those who strive to obey the law (Galatians 2:16), but to anyone who believes in His Son. Because Christ took our sins and gave us His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21), the moment we believe in Him, God treats us as righteous apart from our works or obedience. (Romans 4:5-8) This is new covenant righteousness - a righteousness that comes by faith and not works.

You are not righteous because of how morally upright you are. You are not righteous because you exercise self-control. You are not righteous because you read 10 chapters of the Bible daily. You are not righteous because you feel righteous. But you are the very righteousness of God in Christ solely because the sacrifice of Jesus made you so. When you believe this, your faith is accounted for righteousness.

And this is what God wants you to use your faith for. If you are righteous by your deeds, you don't need faith. You also don't need faith to know that you are sinful. But you need faith to believe and declare that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, in the midst of your struggles with temptation and sin.

For example, when you feel lousy because you have just shouted at your wife, God wants you to exercise your faith to see yourself as still righteous in the midst of that failure. This living revelation that you are still righteous will give you the strength to love your wife and reconcile things with her.

The devil may remind you of your foul temper and question your integrity: "How dare you call yourself righteous when you just did that!" Just ignore his lies and boldly declare, "I am not righteous because of what I have done or not done. I am righteous only because of the blood and finished work of Jesus at the cross!"

What do you think righteousness is all about? Something you do or something you are? Right doing and right being?

Romans 4:5

"However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness."

Are you in the righteousness circle?

How many types of righteousness are there?:

Self-righteousness

A prominent mark of the unbeliever is not simply that they are going about doing evil or cursing God; lots of unbelievers do many good works.

The foremost mark of the unbeliever is that their life is governed by what is right or wrong in their own eyes. This is the lie that Satan sold Eve in the Garden of Eden. They would become gods, able to determine for themselves

Scripture is filled with references of why man should not follow what seems right in his owndeceitfullynot God's wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-7, 28:26; Psalm 118:8; Jeremiah 10:23, 17:5-9; Isaiah 55:9; I Corinthians 2:5).

When man disregards God's words and justifies himself according to his intellectfeelings, such is self-righteousness. In the New Testament, these are depicted as the Pharisees and Sadducees. Although they were the religious leaders of His day, Jesus said that they were self-righteous unbelievers and hypocrites (Luke 18:9-14; John 3:12, 8:19-55; 10:25-26).

Being "right" in their own eyes blinded them to the righteousness of God (Matthew 9:13; Mark 2:17; Luke 5:32). As a result, they strived to appear more "holy" than others. Their own opinions became the standard of what was Godly and they quickly condemned others by their personal standards of righteousness. They needed the accolades of men to replace the approval of God and inwardly hated those who walked in obedience to Him. This is why Jesus said:

"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:20

Is your "righteousness" grounded in your thoughts, impressions, and ideals about life? Is it based upon you always being "right", even preventing you from admitting error or asking forgiveness? Is it validated by the praises of men? Does it lead you to live your life as if others "owe you" something? Is it drawn from comparing yourself to the "righteousness" of others? Then your righteousness has not exceeded the righteousness of the Pharisees. It is self-righteousness.

The Righteousness of the Law

According to the Scriptures, there is also a type of righteousness that can come from keeping the law. There were people in the old covenant who kept God's law blamelessly and were even considered righteous
because of it.

"There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless." Luke 1:5-6

"And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions." Matthew 19:16-22

"Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless." Philippians 3:4-6

There is a certain kind of righteousness that comes from keeping the law. However, it falls short of justifying man before God because - as the rich man notes above - this type of righteousness centers around what man can "do" to obtain eternal life (Acts 13:39; Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16, 3:24). This is why Paul above notes the righteousness coming from the law as having confidence and trusting "in the flesh".

Unlike the Pharisees and Sadduccees, these individuals were not unbelievers, but those who sought to serve God. Even today, many who seek to fulfill the righteousness of the law desire to fully serve the Lord, but do not understand that such righteousness has already been fulfilled in those who believe (Romans 8:1-4).

There is nothing man can "do" to redeem himself. As Jesus responded about the rich man above, with men salvation is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). What man cannot do through works - even righteous works according to the law - God Himself accomplished in the person of His Son Jesus.

Individuals could attain the righteousness of keeping the law blamelessly, butRomans 8:3; Hebrews 7:19). Zacharias was righteous in his obedience to the law, but he still struggled with unbelief. The rich man walked in all the commandments of God, but still had covetousness in his heart. Paul was blameless in the law, even while he was persecuting the church. No matter of keeping the law - even blamelessly - could produce the inner righteousness necessary to be reconciled to God. Such could only come by God Himself, and not human effort.

Under the righteousness of the law, God's favor is earned by what we do versus what Christ has done. Under the righteousness of the law, one's foremost concern is breaking God's rules, not God's heart. Under the righteousness of the law, the motivation is fear of God's punishment rather than appreciation for God's mercy. Under the righteousness of the law, sin is taken to Mt. SINai to be worked off through performance instead of taken to Mt. Calvary to be covered by Jesus' blood through grace.

"For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. " Romans 10:2-4

To borrow from the words of Jesus, "Wilt thou be made perfect?" Then do not settle in striving for a righteousness based in human effort which does not perfect. Rather, submit to the righteousness of Christ and be made whole (Romans 1:16-17; 3:21-22; Philippians 3:9; II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 11:7; I Peter 1:1).

The Righteousness of Christ

The righteousness of Jesus Christ is embodied in the fact that He never did His own will, but the will of His Father. Jesus didn't just do what seemed right in His own eyes. Neither was He content in just obeying the letter of the law. Jesus sought to please God in all things and at all

There is a message I heard which perfectly explains this critical difference where he expounds on the following texts:
times by living as a continual sacrifice to the Father...well before the cross; that is where the righteousness of God rests.

"All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." I Corinthians 6:12

"All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not." I Corinthians 10:23

Essentially, the text above illustrates three levels of living.

Live unlawfully - This is what unbelievers do. One does whatever they want to do with no regard for God's words. This is the lowest form of living and produces self-righteousness.
Live lawfully - This is how many believers live. A person feels justified by outward works; doing that which is permitted or not doing that which is forbidden. The main concern is that their activity is 'lawful'. This is the righteousness of the law.
Live profitably - This is where disciples of Christ are called to exist. The concern is not just "is this lawful", but what would the Spirit have me to do? What is profitable? The fruit of this is the righteousness of Christ.

The whole-hearted believer may not do that which is sinful, but neither are they satisfied for that which is simply lawful. They seek the heart of God for only that which edifies.

It may be lawful to eat a particular meal, but perhaps it is more profitable to spend that time in prayer. It may be lawful to watch a certain TV show, but it may be more edifying to study God's word. It may be lawful to go to a party, but maybe it is more expedient to spend some time ministering to your neighbor. It is not sinful to eat, to watch a TV show, or to socialize at a party, but what is the Spirit of God leading you to do at that moment? Jesus never did what He wanted to do; only what the Father commanded Him to do.

Being truly led by the Spirit of God means to seek God's direction in all things regarding our inner and outer life.Such is the kingdom of God (Romans 14:17).

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

Matthew 5:6

Are you guilt-ridden?

Then he says,

“I will never again remember

their sins and lawless deeds.”

During the day, the devil may whisper in your head, "You cannot go into God's presence because you have not been reading your Bible and serving in church." Or he will tell you that it is because of the sin which you have just committed.

The devil will always make you feel that you are not qualified or clean enough to go near God. But the truth is, regardless of how you feel and what you have done, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

In the original Greek text, the tense for the word "cleanses" denotes a present continuous action. This means that once you are a believer, the blood of Jesus Christ keeps on cleansing you from every sin!

So you can rest knowing that you are always forgiven in this continuous "wash cycle" of Jesus' blood. Because you are continually cleansed, you are always in the light. Of course, you will fail here and there, but you are still in the light because the blood is continuously washing you!

The Bible says that we overcome the devil, the accuser of our brethren, by the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 12:11) If you have sinned, remind yourself that Jesus' blood keeps on cleansing you from every sin - 24 hours a day, seven days a week - and move on with God! The devil cannot defeat you when your faith is in the blood that cleanses you continuously.

Some Christians are guilt-ridden because their consciousness of their sins condemns them. Although Jesus' blood continuously cleanses them, they would rather hold on to their past mistakes and feel bad about them, thinking that they are being humble and holy when they do this. But this is nothing more than self- righteousness.

Looking back again.

This past few days, i can't help but recapping things that has been happening for the past few years.There are things that have driven me and some that has stumble a block from me.

I started coming into the entertainment scene when i was 16 years old. I still remember those days. I have to dig every opportunity that comes along the way. Passing out name cards to everyone i met. Blog every single day. Participate in every available forums online. I just had to get my name out there.

(Me doing shows when i was 16 years old, gosh look at me! I was not even properly dressed! And its on google when your search 'Chris Cheong')

I remember screwing up on stage in front of 5000 guest on my first show. *Rawr!!* Those were the days. Haha. Can you even imagine performing on jeans and sport shoes in a corporate dinner!? Darn!

But nevertheless, i met great and wonderful people along the way and made a few enemies too.

An opportunity came, i was being approached by National TV : Radio Television Malaysia to do a few special segments for their kids program. Example: Lava Kids and Kids on 2.

That was my first step establishing as an artist.

Have been working as an artist mentalist/magician there for the past years now. Had done more that hundreds hundres over episodes and segment for them.

And i look rediculously stupid when i am 17 on national television. =(

(It is still on air every Friday and Saturday Morning throughout 2010 and 2011.)

I am glad i am still doing segments and episodes for our national television. ;)

WHAT HAVE I LEARN?

1) No one is a truely loner, and no one can. Eveyone needs one another. And there is only a handful of true friends. Grab hold of them and never let them go. No matter what.

2) Money can not do everything, but without money, YOU CAN NOT DO ANYTHING. Save up, spend wise and invest smart. You can earn five figure paycheck a month but if you spend them off like a bull, it just meant nothing.

3) High risk, high return. Low risk, low return. Dare to fail and take the risk. But that does not include FOOLISH risk.

4) Dig it all. Every opportunity that comes your way, grab them and dig a hole out of them. Make every single use of it. Cause you're never know when the next same opportunity that comes your way.

5) Do not be afraid to ask for help. When you know you just need help, ASK.

6) This is one of the most important thing i learned in life. Man can plan everything. But if you do not summit them unto the Lord and seek His wisdom, you're not doing it right. My best business partner and adviser is the Lord.

And yes my work allowed me to met up and exchange contact with alot pretty ladies. =) This is one of the reason why i should keep going forward? Haha!

Have you ever made a mistake?. I am thinking everyone made mistake ayte? A mistake is an error. We wont stop making them till the day we die. But the thing is do not repeat the same mistake. =)

Thats true you know! The worst mistake you can make is being afraid to make one. I always tell myself this : Dare to fail. High risk, high return and Low risk, low return. But that does not mean foolish risk.

I had a "not to be proud" of background to begin with. I did tons of mistake my whole life. To people that cares and loves me. My family, friends and Exs.

Some mistake are changeable, most isn't. But you know what, is those mistake that made me of what i am today.

Above all, i would love to say a big SORRY to those i had done wrong to.

I am changing. Always am.

(Though the sorry may not seems big.)

What am i today?

I made my way into the entertainment industry at the age of 16. Started off really small with just gigs and private functions.

I am thankful to have great and wonderful people around me that have always been my side guiding and helping me along the way.

At the age of 17+, i officially made it to the TV and establish as an Mentalist artist in Radio Television Malaysia.

Life has never been easy.

I failed literally in front of 5000pax audience in an open stage event.

I made lots of enemy and friends along the way.

I really would love to thank you those who had always been with me.

Oops! I suddenly am lost of words to blog anymore. =( The point is, i made mistake and i am sorry for it.

What past has past, i can't change them. But i can ensure i do better in the future.

The differences in life

Everyone is bron differently. Different hair. Different height. Body feature. Attitude. The list goes on and on.

I have been out this few weeks with friends and realise something. Among the conversations. We always judge/gossip of how other person look like. How they talk. Thei body feature. Peoples attitude. We make fun. We laugh. We gossip. We judge.

Why are we attracted to the negativity of others? Hearing the stories, witnessing the scenes. Little do we know that participating in this energy hinders our spiritual growth and keeps us from achieving the miracles we desire. Learn how to avoid these pitfalls and improve your relationships.

Have you ever wondered why people so enjoy hearing terrible things about others? I must admit that even I sometimes say, "What! When did that happen? What a failure." I would laugh and joke about it. I do. I admit. What is the mechanism that causes people to react in this way? Think about it. When you find out your friend is having an affair or when you know a special secret no one else knows, isn't it interesting how knowing these things gives you an excitement rush? I think this is the reason why Malaysians are so addicted to movies.

The fact is that most of us who gossip about the affairs of others do so simply because we feel unfulfilled in our own lives; we look to the misery or excitement that others experience as a way to take our minds off our own drudgery or perhaps because it exposes us to a better or more interesting way of being.

There is an expression I use a lot, which is simply, busy people are not busybodies. When you have a life that is satisfying and you love what you do and who you are, then it is difficult for you to find the time or the enthusiasm to become involved in other people's affairs. Yet most of the time, the main drawback to our spiritual development and our ability to go beyond our present state of consciousness, is our Malchut, namely, our mouth. We do more damage than we can imagine simply by not practicing restriction. We don't know what silence is really all about.

The greatest detriment to our spiritual growth is our inability to control what we discuss. You might counter my assertion by saying it isn't you who starts these conversations, but the exercise I've just mentioned should direct you how to get out of the heat before it becomes a fire.

As a rule, people who find it difficult to enjoy their own lives are attracted to the negativity of people around them. That way they can say, "Well, at least I have more than so-and-so does." Try this little exercise, which I have given you; you will find it very difficult. If you succeed, you will gain, for yourself, more insight than you ever thought possible.

This is our inability to empathize with others. Generally, we are quick to judge other people and often respond instantaneously to a situation or problem. More often than not, we do not pause for that one moment to say to ourselves, "If I were in his place, would I have done the same thing?" But do not think about what you would have done or not done from your own point of view. Instead, look at the situation from the other person's point of view, as if you were in his consciousness, and try to understand him that way.

In all my years of talking with people and becoming involved with their problems, i learned to think from people point of view. Like i mention earlier, i do judge, i do make jokes out of it. But i learn to control.

Remember, it's only a test of our ability to face the many challenges the Light throws at us. If we succeed and live up to these challenges, we draw more Light than we can imagine.

Well the point i am trying to point out is. GET A LIFE AND THERE IS MANY OTHER THINGS IN LIFE TO DO THEN SPENDING TIME BEING A LIVE CNN.

I am too trying to be better. The purpose of this post is not to say that i am perfect. I am in it. I am trying to be better too.

Soon it would be Christmas and then the end of year 2010.

Before writing this post, i was just reading back thoose post where i wrote for 2009.I am really glad to see how i have grew and accomplished goals that i have set out.

I really do thank God for putting different people playing different roles in my life, helping me out and always there with me.

I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to those who i have done wrongs to. Looking back, i realize that along the way i have done tons and tons of mistake.

I took up the path and enter entertainment scene with magic when i was 16. The passion and love for it has never left my heart. I keep it close to me.

I do not need an expert or professional to tell me that how much i have changed from the old me to new Chris. Lets just say, the new Chris be more "worldly" and more enthusiatic of "money", "fame"?

I do admit i have changed alot. But if you know me before 2007, you would know how bad/crazy/nonsense i was. I was a boy without direction. There is nothing bad enough in life that i have never done before.I am pretty sure about that. =)

I was lost but was found again. I have changed. He changed me. And i am now going all out for what i want in life.

Many of you could have been wondering what I have been doing, where I have been going and where I will be going. Am sure many of you want to ask me why do I do this and that. Feel free to approach me anytime but don't judge me just yet. If you want to, judge me wisely.

I just hate it when people misunderstand me and judge me wrongly. If you have a question, face it with me. I am more than willing to answer you.I can also preach an hour explanation if you need it.

I know i have higher calling and a higher purpose.

I have many things in life that i want to achieve and i am going all out for it. No matter what obstacle and problems ahead, nothing is gonna stop me from where i am going.

This journey is gonna be a long, cold walk. But no i ain't giving up till i reach there.

If we seek God first in all we do, we are going to the right path.

I have been warned. I have been warned. Warned that, if I ever leave God, YES, I WILL STILL be damn successful. I will still be able to get rich and famous and do everything. BUT ultimately, I will be DOOMED.

I am writing this not only to the people who is reading this, i am also writing this as a reminder for myself.

And i will continue to change and be better. Just a little bit patience with me. I am sorry to those that i have wrongly againts.

We often come to a stage where we need to make decisions. Whether is about study,career,marriage or even simple things, we still need to make it. There is time when we made the right choice, there is also time when we made the wrong ones and we would have to live with the consequences.

I was suppose to make a very important decision today. I was really glad that today's church sermon are really helpful.

And i would like to share with you, what i have learn and how it has help me through.

What are the things that we should have when it comes to making decisions?

1) Pride

2) Anger

3) Greed

4) Hatred

5) Impatience

6) Liquar

7) Lust

What are the things we should have/do when it comes to making decisions?

1) Always look around. Look around all the blessings that you have. Does your decision takes them away? Is it worth it?

2) Always look within. We all have conscience. We know what is right and what is wrong.

3) Always look ahead. Never make a decision that gives you what is temporary. What future you would have in doing this?

4) Always look up. See what God have had to say. He know what is best for you. Ask Him.

Old Covenant of Law - New Covenant of Grace.

Now i was searching about the web for the story of the scene where Jesus din't stone a women for her sin and wrote on a stone twice. This story really makes me wonder alot. Why did Jesus wrote on the stones twice and why din't He stone her.

And guess what i found online? Muslim interpreting and declaring that Jesus din't stone her because he is a sinner as well.

This is what i have to say.

First of all, Jesus came down to offer an ultimate sacrifice once and for all. He came to give live abundantly. He came so that we no longer be punished for breaking law. He came so that our past,present and future sins is forgiven. He din't came to abolished the law. He came to fulfill them on our behalf.

Man and women throughout the old testament could never fulfill the law. And God has to punished them. Judgment upon them. Because under the Old Covenant of Law. We need to obey the law to receive blessings.

Jesus came to give salvation and grace. Under the New Covenant of Grace. We receive blessings and grace to empower us to obey. Law no longer between us and God the Father. Satan no longer armed with the word of requirement againts us. Satan has been using the Law to condem man for ages. This is why Jesus came. To finish the work.

Now here is the story where this women sinned and the crowd told Jesus that she should be stoned. Bear in mind that the high priest is trying to catch Jesus here. Because if Jesus say do not stone her, He is breaking the Law of Moses but if He say stone here, Jesus has just gone againts the grace and good news He brought and preached.

So what did Jesus did? He went down to the ground and wrote on the stone with His finger? WHY? Is not that obvious? God has 3 head. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Sprit. Now who wrote the Law of Moses? God did. And is Jesus God? Yes. So therefore Jesus wrote the Law. Jesus is trying to imply that He wrote the Law of Moses.

How many times did God wrote the Law of Moses? Twice. Why twice? Because the first time when Moses is bringing down the Stones, he broke it. So technically speaking Moses is the first to break the law. =)

Now Jesus wrote something on the stone twice as well, implying that he wrote the LAW.

Jesus then said "Which among you has no Sin, cast the first stone." - Everyone then leave.

Jesus then said to the women" Neither do i condemn you, go and sin no more". Please note here that Jesus said Neither do i condemn you, go and sin no more. Jesus din't say go and sin no more yet and i shall not condemn you. He came to bring live abundantly and He came to fullfill the law once and all. So that our past,present,future sins are forgiven.

Jesus could stone the women, but he would not. The people would stone the women but they could not.

Such a amazing grace and love. Jesus came to bring New Covenant of Grace so that we are no longer under the Old Covenant of Law.

God no longer punish our sins? No longer judgment for our sins? So is that mean, we already have the license to sin? NO. God hate sins as much as he hated in during Moses time. God is just, God is holy and He hated sins very very much.

But things work differently now. Law no longer grabs hold of us. We do not need to obey the Law to receive blessings. We receive blessings and grace to EMPOWER us to obey.

Even in the Old Covenant, God sees mercy higher than law. God told Moses to put the Law of Moses in Tarbancle under the Mercy Seat. UNDER the Mercy Seat. Not above. Keep that in Mind.

UNDER THE MERCY SEAT.

Such a great and wonderful God we have. I love him. He loves me.

Because of Jesus, law no longer come in between my relationship with God. I am directly connected to God now. All of us are. Amen?

Today marks an official legal age for me.Definitely exciting?

To be honest, i never like my birthday. I never celebrate them. Every year of birthday would be just another reminder of how i struggle all my years for survival.

Every year, i really would love to have my biological parents wishing me. Even if it is just an sms. Haven receive anything yet. =)

God definitely has bless me and have always been with me through my journey. He has always by my side during all my career life.

November 18, 1992 marks my arrival to planet earth. It also marks the day i started struggling for survival.

I never liked that day. I have never celebrate that day either.

As my birthday coming close, i started to remind and flash back the hard times i have been though all this years. All my 18 years of living. A life without support and encouragement. I have to earn every penny myself. I have to earn and achieve everything i needed in life.

Remember those times when i first came KL. Everything seems new. New environment. New standard of living. New battle zone. I am glad that God has seen me through and have always been with me.

Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Our God is an awesome God. For such an undeserve person like me yet He love me. Unending mercy and grace towards me.

Dear Lord,

I am glad that you have place different peoples in my life playing important roles that have got me to where i am today. Thank you Lord. I may not be the best, i may not be what you have intended me to be yet. But i will, i will do my best to glorify you in my life. I pray Lord that everything will go well as 2011 approaching.

I am Destined to Reign. I am living in the New Covenant of Grace and not the Old Covenant of Law. (Do pick up Destined to Regin by Joseph Prince)

Dear magician all around the world,

As many of you know who is David Berglas and his world reknown legendary "Holy Grail of Mentalism" The Berglas Effect.

The Berglas Effect, has never been on the market for sales. Magicians all around the world has been trying so hard to figure out the method behind it. Thus, came variation called A.C.A.A.N(Any card at Any number). This variation is somewhat far away from reaching the perfect.

I am glad to have been able to email David Britland, who wrote the "The Mind and Magic of David Berglas". I have the book myself. Though as many forums suggest that it was a huge disappointment purchasing it as it did not reveal the actual method. From my point of view, the method is already disclosed in the book. If you read the entire book though.

This effect is not some some simple gimmicks nor simple explanation that you can just read and perform it right away. It has been the performances and personalitites of David Berglas that made The Berglas Effect.

So far, only magicians like Lu Chen and Marc Paul has ever perform it live near PERFECT.

Over 6 months of closely study, i have compile a version of mine. Close to perfect, thus similiar as perform by Lu Chen and Marc Paul.

This PDF is few pages long. Consist of all the method and variation possible to achieve perfect as well as a complete version put together by me.

This PDF is strictly for magicians all around the world only. This PDF is also the first ever simple compile explanation in the market, in the world.

There is also a few versions available out there. But personally i think mine would be the easiest and cleanest of all.

The Police of Malaysia called up Namewee for investigation after posting up a 3minute rap video “Nah” criticising a Muslim Malay headmistress accused of making racial slurs against her ethnic Chinese and Indian students.

Johor police chief DCP Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the first report was lodged at Kulaijaya police headquarters on Saturday, while three others were lodged at Johor Jaya, Pasir Gudang and Masai yesterday.

“We will investigate the case under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948 which carries a fine not exceeding RM5,000 or a maximum jail term of three years, or both, upon conviction,” he told reporters in Johor Bahru today.

Investigation made to a rapper who rap his stand againts racism in Malaysia? Police should put more effort in investigating the Muslim Malay headmistress for making a racial slurs.

Kuala Lumpur 28 August 2010 - My name is Wee Meng Chee. I am a Malaysian who grew up harmoniously with friends from all all walks of life and different races. From my young age, I was taught under our national education system to always have an open mind so that some day I can in turn, contribute my intellectual thoughts back to my beloved country.

Over the past few weeks, servants of the government under the education system have committed certain acts which disrupted the racial sentiments in the country and like many of my fellow Malaysians, I felt saddened and at times angered by these black sheep who do not respect that Malaysia is a multi-racial country with freedom of religion.

I strongly believe that this country was built by all races including Malays, Chinese, Indians and other minorities. Merdeka - Malaysia's Independence

I have been staying in Malaysia for about 19 years now. So i guessed, i have been celebrating 19 times of Merdeka?

When i was young, living with my grandparents. Merdeka seems to be something happening. We get so excited of things. Everything has changed now right? To us Merdeka is an holiday! Time to hang out with friends. Hangover. =) We lost the meaning of it.

The begining:
The effort for independence was spearheaded by Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, who led a delegation of ministers and political leaders of Malaya in negotiations with the British in London for Merdeka, or independence along with the first president of the Malayan Chinese Association (MCA) Tun Dato Sir Tan Cheng Lock and fifth President of Malaysian Indian Congress Tun V.T. Sambanthan.
Yup thats right. Malay,,Chinese and Indian made it happen.

Development:

The best Prime Minister from my opinion is Tun Mahathir. He developed the country and brought it to a whole new stage. As Prime Minister, he was credited with engineering Malaysia's rapid modernisation.During his term in office, he was considered by some as one of Asia's most influential leaders.Mahathir was also widely known as an outspoken critic of "Western-style globalization.

What is happening now:
After Mahathir, there is a few prime minister took over the office till now. Well there is nothing much i could say. =) Take a look for yourself.

The Jerico's In Life

Many of us have heard and know the story "Wall Of Jerico" written in Joshua chapter6.

Everyday we face tons of problems.There are many things in life we can fight for. We fight for love, we fight for a good cause, we fight for hate, we fight for courage, we fight for redemption, and the list goes on. New things to conquer.
Lots of problem to attend.
But we have limited resources. We only have this much of strength. We only have this much of ability.
What can we do?

Sometimes we are tired.We just can't do it anymore. We have no more resources to go for war anymore.

Me too. Imagine balancing studies with careers and other commitment i have.

It is tough.

But I know.There will always be mountains and storms. There will always be Walls like Jerico.
I know that it is never easy. But i also know that i am not alone. I have God.
He knows what is best for me. Everything is a part of His plan.

If we would only be obedience just like Joshua. There will be a breakthrough.

Now and Then

I took up the path and enter entertainment scene with magic when i was 16. The passion and love for it has never left my heart. I keep it close to me.

I do not need an expert or professional to tell me that how much i have changed from the old me to new Chris. Lets just say, the new Chris might be more "worldly" and more enthusiatic of "money"?

I do admit i have changed alot. But if you know me before 2007, you would know how bad/crazy/nonsense i was. I was a boy without direction. There is nothing bad enough in life that i have never done before.

I was lost but was also found again. I have changed. He changed me. And i am going all out for what i want in life.

Many of you could have been wondering what I have been doing, where I have been going and where I will be going. Am sure many of you want to ask me why do I do this and that. Feel free to approach me anytime but don't judge me just yet. If you want to, judge wisely.

I just hate it when people misunderstand me and judge me wrongly. If you have a question, face to face with me. I am more than willing to answer you.

Well, i really hate being misunderstand. You know about my past - congrats - because u have just understand how crazy/mean/bad i was. But if you know about the present, then think twice. Because the new me is different. I took up a path not many would. I made the decision to change myself and given a second chances. If you would to search Chris Cheong in Google, it would tell you more.

Years before 2007. I was bad, i mean really bad. To be honest, there is nothing bad enough in life that i have never done myself. Police station has been my regular visits. No for coffee. =) I am glad i went through times like that. Expose to the other side of the society. I din't regret doing what i did. If it was not because of the past, i would not know where to go in the future.

Year after 2007. God changed me. He showed me what is love. What is selfishness. What is arrogance. What is kindness. - He work in my life i have never expected would. He told me"

Being from the past, i am hooked with lots of bad habits. Short fuse. Quick reaction. Lots of temptation. Again He said:

Here are some of my strong personal effect that i will be producing a video/dvd tutorial soon. For magicians that is interested in buying the secret, feel free to contact me.

EXODUS COIN :: The ultimate sign coin in the bottle.

Quick Info; Coin into bottle effects has been around magic field for ages. What makes this special? First of all, this is a sign coin. No duplicate coin in the bottle to start off. 100% empty bottle from the start. The method involves to work out this effect is much more difference with other coin in bottle in the market. This is Sign Coin in A 100% empty bottle.

Effect: It is extremely straight forward. A borrowed coin sign by the spectator. A empty water bottle handed out for examination - both coin and bottle passed back to the magician. Visually the magician pops in the sign coin into the bottle. Visual and powerful. Any bottle,anywhere. Perfect for working magician.

Tips: I have been using this effect almost every close-up performances for a year now. It is strong, visual and straight forward. This is the impact you would want in your show.

THE MARKER :: Permanent No More

Quick Info; The idea of this effect comes to me year ago when the some of the tattoo magic came into the market. I have been thinking that it would be amazing to be able to remove something permanent and replace them somewhere else,impossible.

Effect: An audience sign their name on a card,paper or even arms with permanent marker pen. The magician the ask the spectators to rub them, proving it is permanent. With a little wave the marker disappear. The magician later able to produce the signature back on other card or even his own arm.

Tips: I personally rarely do the arm marker effect. I love the card marker transposition - the effect is strong, methods are simple. This effect is still being develop. I am still trying many other different ways of working it.

This interest and passion of mine had begun when I was very young. My family would bring me to various magic shows. And it all started with a magic kit I got for my 8 years old birthday.

I bet most of you have seen/done this old trick, where you pretend to disassemble your thumb and restore it back. Imagine practicing in front of the mirror alone for 5 hours daily for the same effect over and over again.

When I was younger, the idea of magic for me was to impress and fool my friends. I wanted to stand out and be able to do something they were not capable of, I wanted to outsmart them.

In the year 2007, I joined The Magic Annexe (Malaysia Premier Magic Club). This has been a major stepping stone in my career. I have learnt much there. On image, presentation, and professionalism.

My motives have been corrected. I realized that magic is not a tool to impress or fool the audience. It is to entertain with the outmost respect; to add an exciting element to an event.

In 2008, I decided to come out with Magical Ztudio the Magic Supplying Company. This move stunned many, as it was not expected. Magical Ztudio brought much heavy criticism, critisms surface on age, experience, and capability in competing and providing the necessary results from which Magical Ztudio was expected to do. Well that aside now, Magical Ztudio represents to be one of the leading magic companies in Asia.

I wish I could have the time and opportunity to share all the exciting events and interesting personalities of people I meet along the journey.

Early in 2010 – I am very blessed to be approached by few TV production company. I certainly had an awesome time shooting with some of the very passionate and devoted crews. I am also blessed to have lots of exciting big projects coming soon.

The best part of year 2010 was making a step into the clubbing scene.

It has been almost half a year now, working for one of the hottest and happening clubs in P.J. Movida Club as their resident magician. Movida is really an awesome place ; it is all about Move, VIbes, DAnce.

Before I got into the clubbing scene, I never knew how fun it was. =) In fact, I am one of the only two magicians that hold a resident magician position in the whole of Malaysia’s club scene.

Some of my close friends asked, “Do you get bored of working twice a week in the same place? Don’t you get sick for it?”

The answer is no, not at all. To me, it is all about having fun while working. Each and every night is a whole new adventure and definitely a whole new experience.

Month of April 2010

At the start of April i thought that this is gonna be a very silent month as my booking was very low. Out of the sudden, calls and emails start flowing in confirming lots of shows and almost pack my entire month until a point that i have to cancel a few events.

Through The Storms

St Mark's words might express the feelings of many people of shaky faith or none. When the storms of life rage overhead, people often can't keep themselves from a word of protest:

Where is God when I need him most?

After all, God is supposed to be at the helm of the ship. That's God's job. Instead, he sometimes seems comfortably sheltered from the maelstrom of human concerns. Perhaps he's just dozing. His captaincy sometimes seems hidden from view.

The disciples ask Jesus,

Do you not care?

Lots of people in our day ask God the same question. Is it any wonder? A captain at rest while his ship is going down would shake anyone's confidence.

Most of us are probably too far removed form the perils of the sea to enter easily into the fear expressed by the disciples. These days the storms of life confront us in different ways. Concern about a sick or dying friend, worries about keeping our jobs and supporting our families, anxiety that we'll just be taken for granted, fear that we'll be left alone, that those whom we love will turn out unfaithful.

Sensitivity to wider world issues only adds to the storms that hover threateningly over human lives: governments that appear unable to tell the truth, wars that cease only to be continued by other means, racial or religious strife that rises, an environment that groans, people everywhere suffering and going without.

In such stormy conditions, even very faithful believers might want to lodge a protest with God:

Do you not care? We are going down!

The psalmist more than once did just that:

Rouse thyself! Why sleepest thou, O Lord. Awake! Do not cast us off forever (44:23).

The disciples had to learn who Jesus was, who this one was whom 'even the wind and sea obey'. The Christian believer is not without the same need to learn. So what's lacking if, in our fear, we sometimes feel like God doesn't care?

You are never alone through the storms.

Jack Neo's Affair

JACK Neo, Singapore's most successful film-maker, has confessed to a two-year affair with a freelance model less than half his age after the young woman exposed it by showing up at his Pasir Ris semi-detached home.

Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao said Miss Wendy Chong, 22, was upset that Neo, 50, had apparently lied to her and demanded to see his wife on Friday. Neo met Chong when she got a bit role as a nurse in his movie, Money No Enough 2, two years ago, and has a meatier role as Mark Lee's sister-in-law in his latest film, Being Human, which opened on Thursday, said The New Paper on Sunday.

The 1.63m tall model said Neo took her on trips overseas, including Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. 'I would go shopping while he work. After he finished his work, we would meet up and enjoy our time together,' she told TNP on Sunday.

Lianhe Wanbao said she had tried calling Jack several times on Friday but he did not answer her calls. She then went to Jack's home at about 3 pm and waited till he returned home. She told him she wanted to go in and talk to his wife, Madam Irene Kng, 46. To her surprise, Neo let her into the house and called his wife to come downstairs.

Chong said Madam Kng's reaction to her husband's affair shocked her. 'She asked me, 'What do you want?' She said that she did not care about who Jack involved with as she was content that she loved him.' The three of them later left for a meeting in a restaurant at Changi Airport's Crowne Plaza Hotel in a car driven by Madam Kng.

Jack admitted to Lianhe Wanbao that he was at fault, adding that he felt terrible but had been unable to end the affair as Chong had threatened to harm herself, and that he was worried that his wife could not forgive him.
In a surprising revelation, Madam Kng said she had known about the affair for a year but she chose to 'close one eye' and did not confront her husband.

Can any of you tell me what day 14 Feb is? That’s right it’s Valentine’s Day. Last year Valentine, i saw this video on YouTube.

Now, can anyone tell me how Valentine’s Day
started? =)

There was a priest by the name of Valentine. He lived in Rome about 250 AD. That was a long, long time ago! At that time, Rome was ruled by an emperor by the name of Claudius. Some people called him Claudius the Cruel. St. Valentine didn't like Emperor Claudius, and he wasn't the only one! A lot of people felt the same way. Claudius wanted a big army. He thought men should volunteer to join. Many men just did not want to fight in wars. They did not want to leave their wives and girlfriends. So, not many men signed up to fight. This made Claudius mad.

So do you know what he did? He had a crazy idea that if men were not married, they would not mind joining his army. So Claudius decided not to allow any more marriages.

Young people thought his new law was really cruel. Valentine thought it was ridiculous! One of his favorite jobs as a priest was to marry people.

Well after Emperor Claudius passed his law, he kept on performing marriage ceremonies – but secretly. He
would whisper the words of the ceremony, while listening for soldiers on the steps outside. One night, he did hear footsteps. The couple he was marrying escaped, but he was caught He was thrown in jail and told that his punishment was death. St. Valentine tried to stay cheerful.

Many young people came to the jail to visit him. They threw flowers and notes up to his window. They wanted him to know that they, too, believed in love. One of these young people was the daughter of the prison guard. Her father allowed her to visit him in his cell. They often sat and talked for hours. She believed he did the right thing by ignoring the Emperor and performing marriage ceremonies. On the day he was to die, he left her a note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty. He signed it, "Love from your Valentine."

That note started the custom of exchanging love notes on Valentine's Day. It was written on the day he
died, February 14, 269 A.D. Now, every year on this day, people remember. But most importantly, they
think about love and friendship. And when they think of Emperor Claudius, they remember how he tried to
stand in the way of love, and they laugh -- because they know that love can't be beaten!

We know love is very important.

The bible tells us in, 1 John 3:18 My children, our love should not be only
words and talk. Our love must be true love. And we should show that love by what we do. St. Valentine backed up his belief with action. He continued to perform marriage ceremonies even though he knew he could die for doing it. And he is not the only one. God showed His love for us before we were even born.

John 3:16“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.

He sent His only son to be tortured to death so that each and every one of us could live in heaven with Him forever. He did this for every one of us, before we were even born. Our words have to match our actions if we really mean them.

Romans 5:8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. In this way God shows his great love for us. But how do we show our love for Him? The Bible tells us lots of ways we can show God our love, since he has first loved us. When we listen carefully to what the Bible tells us, we learn that we can love God best by loving other people.

Valentine's Day is a day of remembrance of LOVE - not only your partner(couple) is also your families and friends. Especially the love that Christ has shown for us.

What Is Love?

"I love ice-cream! It makes me high!"
"Love is Blind"
"Love hurts!"

And wait - Love does not hurt at all. Getting rejected hurts. Breaking up hurts. BUT Love does not hurt!.

So what is love?

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast,it is not proud. It is not rude,it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,it keeps not record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protect,always trust,always hopes,always preserve.

And not these remains : faith, Hope, Love. But the greatest is Love.

So why are we still confuse with love?

For God so love the world that He sent his only son to die for us. He puts on your sin, my sin, entire world sin on Himself at calvary.

He forgive those who do not understand, He forgive those who rejected Him.

Many of us have heard and know the story "Wall Of Jerico" in Joshua chapter6.

Everyday we have tons of things to fight.There are many things in life we can fight for. We fight for love, we fight for a good cause, we fight for hate, we fight for courage, we fight for redemption, and the list goes on. New things to conquer.
Lots of war to attend.
But we have limited resources. We only have this much of strength. We only have this much of ability.
What can we do?

Sometimes we are tired.We just can't do it anymore. We have no more resources to go for war anymore.

Me too. I have to complete my grades this year. Have lots of stuff to do. Balancing studies with magic and other commitment i have.
Is too tired. Especially when you have a very not understanding families and noisy elder in your house, nagging you. Giving stress.

Is tough.

But I know.There will always be mountains and storms. There will always be Walls like Jerico.
I know that it is never easy. But i also know that i am not alone. I have God.
He knows what is best for me. Everything is a part of His plan.

Know where to place God. Always know that everything happens with a purpose. And you are never alone, He will never leave you alone. He will never let you push beyond your limit.
No wall is too tough, no mountain is too big, no storms is too powerful for God.

All we have to do is ask and we will be given, seek and we will find, knock and it will open. Pray.

I was in Kelana Jaya Police station making a report yesterday night. While Awaiting for our very efficient police to attend me, i heard a case.

A husband came to report his wife. Why? It is because the husband when back very late after a dinner party, and end up argue with the wife. The wife then hit him and threaten to kill him at night while he is sleeping.

He file in report to the police and request the police to go and catch his wife to the lock up for that night!

Th worse part is, the man is 60years old and the wife is only 26! Crazy.

Gosh....

Man where is love? Or is there even love.....guess the guy only want her virginity or her young body.

Money Is freaking Important!

Hey Guys and Girls!,

Was watching a sermon "Can God Make You rich and How?" by Datuk Tony Tiah yesterday.Learn alot too.
Money is important. People who tells you that money does not make the world go round and money is not important. Is a lie.

We need money to feed ourselves and family.

We need money in order to travel.

We need money to sleep!(House rental, installment)

We need money to sent our kids to futher studies.

Husband and Wife quarrel because no money.

We work 5days a week for money.

Without money, people will look down at us.And is a no good situation to be in.

See how important is it? So money is neutral and important.
God would love to give us riches and material things in the world. He says in his words that He will bless His people.
BUT why most of the christians is not rich? BUT why most of the christians struggle. Why most are not bless?

The PROBLEMS is the attitude towards money, the attitude of receiving and the attitude of spending. We do not know how to receive from God.

Money must not be our idol! God want us to possess money but not money possess us. God is concern about how we deploy our money.

Money is not to be spend for our pleasures. It should be use to help the poor and needy!

Look at all the rich people who God bless. RICH PEOPLE IS KEDEKUT AND DON'T SPEND MONEY!.

They are even more calculatives compare to the poor. They just love to sit down and look at their bank book and feel praise. They sit down and plan how to get the extra zeros...See?

They simply do not need they money! The attitude is not there.
There is no reasons for God to bless His people, if his people use the money for sinful purposes

Today is saturday! And pretty much obvious that i did not do a long devotion today(weekend).

Anyway, thanks for all you surport throughout all this years of blogging. My feed reader is soon reaching 4k!

As many of you know, one of my resolution this year is to improve my english language. My poor sentence structure and grammar needs to be sharpen. So any post here on my blog that you want to correct my grammatical mistake or sentence structure, please do contact me=) by via email.

Suffering? What is suffering? What are the sources of suffering? What is the viewpoints of suffering?

There is 3 sources of suffering : Satan, Sin, and circumstances.

The viewpoint of the world towards suffering:

1) Fatalistic
2) Deterministic
3) Humanistic
4) Optimists and Pessimist

What i learn about suffering from the Bible is suffering means to allow,to permit,to experience, to go through, to endure. And in Job we understand that suffering also means a trial.

"God does not have to answer His creation" - Elihu(The young man who told Job)

And yes! God does not have to answer HIS creation.

Our attitude during the storm.What should we do during sufferings?
What i think is. Stand firm in faith.

Goals are necessary so that we can lead a glorifying, fulfilled and productive life. Did you set yours? =P

I did.

We as a Christian, we are taught not to be striving for earthly success, material riches or human recofnition in developing our careers,personal aims.

Why?

The Bible said" If we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all theese other things will be added to us."

I personally thinks nothing in this world mean more than Christ. Nothing in this world is more important than serving/following Christ.

He has given all of us Talent(gifts) that we should use to bring glory to His name.

This is what i learn for my daily devotion on 21/1/2010. Well, as all of you know, my english sucks. My sentence structure is purely rubbish. =P

Was doing a stage magic with Zlwin Chew for AYS lauching Sri Kulai western food in 1utama new wing main entrance.

Sri Kulai stuff is something GOOD!

It is a fast-food frozen type. That you put into micro for 4minute then can eat already! The BEST part is this.

- No MSG
- No presavatives
- Fresh(Their high technology stuff)

Wasting My study life

First week of January was a total waste for me, i presume that second week too. Waste in study cause i don have class or studies to do. Not that i finish but dint register anywhere yet=( sad.'

But in works area, i have quite alot of good clients and income - as well as might be getting a resident magician somewhere jobs.

Excited and Sad in the same time. As i understand is study that i should focus on. But no i din't...sigh..

Man, the start of 2010 is really not GOOD at all.

Silence...very quite start...lots of stuff is still hanging here and there, especially studies..

I am so tired with people around, they delay and causes mass imbalance to my time table. Why cant they just do all this planning like Nov/Dec of 2009?

Come one....is 2010!! Eff-ing

I hope this year, my path in magic will seriously move faster compare to last year.

What another year is passing! Christmas is near the corner....wah time flies this year.

This is has a been a tough year for me. Many doors are not open. Seal close. At times some are open - but it dint bring me far. Maybe i am too ambitious. Seeking the wrong thing. Sometimes God has to use pain,hardship to teach me stuff.

2009 is also the last year i will be in Chempaka PJ. I have made tons of good friends. Some of this friendship grew , some slowly fading.

I have learn that man can plan , but only God's will work out. So glad to be reminded by Zlwin Chew blog of a verse from the Bible:

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
-Proverbs 19:21

I hope and pray that year 2010 , will be a better year.

Lord your promises in Jeremiah 29:11 i always will keep it deep in my heart.

Lastly to everyone, I want to apologize to all that i have hurt and i want to thank all that have help me and we have grew together.

All of us have to move on but remember move on with God. He alone knows everything.

Well guess you all don't know him? Haha he has been my motivation in Magic! He inspire me alot and now i want to share him with you guys.

About him:

Lu "Louis" Chen (Chinese: 劉謙; pinyin: Liú Qiān; Wade-Giles: Lu-Chen) (b. June 25, 1976) is a Taiwanese magician and is credited to be the only Taiwanese magician to perform in Hollywood's Magic Castle, commonly referred to as Taiwan's most renowned magician. He graduated from Soochow University with a degree in Japanese literature.

Lu Chen has made multiple appearances internationally, performing in Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States.His first public appearance in the mainland China was in 2009, during CCTV's annual Spring Festival, performing a close-range three-part magic show,which included "teleporting" an engagement ring into a real egg.Guests were invited to try basic magic after the show was over.

He has been the recipient of many international awards, including the famed "Neil Foster/Bill Baird Award for Excellence in Manipulation", which is handed out yearly by the Chavez College of Magic.

Early Life and Magical Career

Lu Chen first became interested in magic at the age of 7 when he was attracted by a magic shop while shopping with his parents.[2] He proceeded to enter and saw the shopkeeper make coins disappear, and when confronted, the shopkeeper pulled a lollipop from behind his ear.[7] From then, he began working on his magic skills, and at the age of 12, he won Taiwan's Youth Magic Contest, which was judged by world-famous magician David Copperfield. In an interview, Lu Chen said that "This win was profoundly meaningful for me. It encouraged me to carry on my magic show dream. It showed me that my efforts could eventually lead to success."[2]

Despite this, Lu Chen did not expect to become a professional magician, instead choosing to study the Japanese language at Soochow University, while practicing amateur magic in his spare time. His failure to find a job after graduation forced him to pursue a career in magic. In 2001, Lu Chen expanded his magic shows onto television, starting a show called "Magic Star", quickly becoming STAR Chinese Channel's's most popular show. In 2003, he took first place at the international World Magic Seminar.[2]

His plans to pursue magic to mainland China[2] were fulfilled when he performed "Magic Hands" at CCTV New Year's Gala 2009[3] in front of a live audience and while one billion people watched the televised broadcast.[8] His performance was the second most popular show that night, surpassed only by Zhao Benshan's skit.[9] After his performance at the CCTV New Year's Gala, he has received fame throughout the mainland, where various provincial channels (most commonly Jiangsu TV, Shanghai Media Group and Hunan TV) offer an invitation for him to perform.

Lu Chen has been performing and judging on the magic segment of the Chang Fei's popular Taiwanese talk show, Variety Big Brother since 2007. Although Chen's comments are primarily comedic, he does not label himself as a comedian.
